Paraprofessionals/Substitute Teachers
The district is always seeking child-centered, motivated paraprofessionals and substitute teachers. Prospective paraprofessionals should complete the "Non-Certified Application" above and send it to the district office.
Compensation for the Paraprofessionals will be in the $17.50/hour range with benefits including enrollment in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (if eligible) and paid time off (if eligible).
Compensation for the Substitute Teachers will be $130-$140 per day in addition to board-paid TRS. Interested substitute teachers should complete the Substitute Application found HERE.

Current Job Openings- Bus Drivers & Substitute Bus Drivers
We are currently accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Candidates with a CDL Class B license with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred. Hours would include weekday early morning and mid-afternoons. Extra trips would also be available. Interested candidates can download an application below or pick one up at the district office at 408 South Belleville Street Freeburg, IL 62243 or at the Freeburg C.C.S.D. #70 Bus Garage at 1216 West Apple Freeburg, IL 62243.
Compensation for Bus Drivers will be in the $28-$29/hour range for regular routes and $21-$22/hour for extra trips, with benefits including enrollment in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (if eligible) and paid time off (if eligible).
